Thanks Laura for running The Berlin Marathon, an impressive 26.2 miles around Germany's capital city. Laura had trained hard and aimed to raise £800 for MCAI. Her final total ended up at a staggering £1,503!

Running the Windsor half marathon: "When I decided to do a half marathon there was no question as to why I wanted to do it. Since my friend tragically passed away in 2010 following the birth of her 10 week premature twins I knew I wanted to do something that might make a difference and change the plight of other mothers. I did quite a bit of research and I came across a couple, but as MCAI focused on women in less developed countries then here in Britain, I knew it was a better option.

Thanks Asim and his wife, Khadijah for raising £1,260 for MCAI. Asim cycled from London to Paris in 24 hours - what an amazing challenge. Thanks to Jess who ran the Liverpool Half Marathon, followed by the Blackpool Half Marathon to raise money for MCAI. Jess Elmer says: "Although it is no 'Eddie Izzard' it was certainly a challenge for me. One of the things that kept me going was the sponsorship money which is going to such a good cause!"
