Training of midwife candidates in advanced obstetrics is ongoing in Bong County, Liberia. Pictured left are Hannah and Naomi – our first two midwife trainees. Naomi (left) has just performed a Caesarean Section with help from Hannah.
We are 15 months into our Strengthening Emergency Care Programme in Liberia (Obstetric & Neonatal components) understaken in partnership between The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, WHO, MCAI and ALSG. Read the report here....
